Have a little squeeze with me......
Squeeze it and they will come, lemons that is. There are three places in Houston that have really great lemonade: Paulie's, Giocomo's and Treebeards. All three uniquely different and fresh, who could ask for anything more. What they all have in common is their tartness; just enough sugar to take the edge off the lemon so it doesn't peel your tongue off, but enough to leave you with a very happy pucker.
Try it, you'll like it.....
Paulie's lemonade is made with ginger and sits in a large glass dispenser toward the back of the restaurant. The ginger adds a mild zing to an already perfect lemonade. I love it. I think about it, crave it.
Giocomo's lemonade is made fresh for you while you wait. Perfect every time I've had it. I sip it, then slurp it, oh my.
Treebeards lemonade has pulp and lots of it. It adds a texture to the liquid. The lemonade sits at the end of the serving line in a big clear container with pulp sloshed up against its walls. Oh, I go weak in the knees just thinking about it.
Hey and guess what, besides great lemonade, they all have really great food!!!! More on that later.
